This project consisted of a new logo, brand identity, and stationery set. My client wanted to use the previous logo from their record store to reflect on the new solar panel business. Every step of this project was overseen by a mentor, as well as weekly zoom meetings with client's previous commercial graphic designer for critique and any criticism.

Started working with the note shape from client's previous logo from the record store to make it look like a sun, the panels were then coming out in an outward perspective. This icon can be in any color or opacity, and have gradient added to it without drastically changing it. The simplicity of it allowed me to have various orientations when it came to rearranging logo and overall symbol.

When researching competing solar panel business logos, it was apparent that most of them were reusing elements from one another. The color schemes are also similar, a very bright yellow with a deep blue. By changing the values of the common color scheme, the result stood out nicely, not too gaudy. Varied colors and the personal element to the new logo makes it unique and sentimental for my client.
